License Facts

• A license is required for each installed instance of the UBB (excluding the freeware version).
• You have two options- lease your license or own your license. If you lease your license to use the UBB, you will pay a significantly reduced rate, but you may only use the UBB for a limited time (1 year). After 1 year, you will have to renew your lease (or purchase the UBB outright). We make no rate guarantees for renewal. On the other hand, if you own your UBB license, you may use the UBB for as long as you please (though you still only receive free upgrades for one year).
• Rates: 1-year leases are currently $67. One owned license is currently $152, with discounts for multiple licenses (see our online order form for all options).
• One year of free upgrades (access to the Members Area) is included with both options.

Prior to being known as UBB.threads by Infopop, UBB.threads was known as WWWThreads. Rick Baker joined the Infopop team after his script WWWThreads was bought out by Infopop.
